Origins
Lincoln's creative focus is the study and preservation of American roots music.
In recent years he has gone deep studying the art of story songs. His career has taken him across genres and instruments, turning him into a producer and a pedal steeler after fronting a Brooklyn based rock 'n roll band for a decade.
Stoner Beach Band
Since moving to the coast of Rhode Island, Lincoln created a fun band and lifestyle brand around ocean living and the pursuit of inner peace.
The band performs regularly around New England and will release orginal music when it's ready : )
Old Soul
Old Soul is a Brooklyn based rock 'n roll band with roots in blue, Americana and soul music.
Established in 2008, the founding members of the band remain Lincoln Foley Schofield, Tobias Jackson, and T-bone Motta.
In 2016 the band released their first full length album, "Family."
"Old Soul is a rock band that just oozes that feel good, Americana vibe. I was listening to their new album Family, and couldn't help but compare it to Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band when they were in their hey-day. Yeah, I just said they remind me of the Boss. I know that's a tall statement, but take a listen to Family and then argue with me."

Storytellin' Show
Lincoln has crafted a show comprised of all story songs, both originals and covers.
"Originally I set out to write an album of my own story songs. As research, I listened to as many story songs as I could, through all periods of recorded music. When I started playing all of these story songs back-to-back, a bigger story emerged. These songs tell American history through the eyes of Woody Guthrie, Tom T. Hall, Shel Silverstein, John Prine, Todd Snider, and so many other great storytellers that I've learned from"
McCarren Park
"Lincoln Foley Schofield is grabbing our attention; and for good reason. The New York City based artist releases intriguing and breathtaking pieces that keep us coming back for more."
-No Depression
"I've never been to McCarren Park but I want to go there because of this song... This is a sweet one."

Forever Wild
Forever Wild is an artist retreat and recording studio build on the grounds of Lincoln's father's organic farm, in a 200 year old stone house where he was born.
The studio is surrounded by plenty of land, water, creatures and quiet. Eat homegrown food, slow down, and make sincere music.
The studio takes it's name from the conservation act that protects the 6 million acres of nearby Adirondacks Park.
Roger Alan Wade
One of Lincoln's favorite gigs is playing pedal steel for Roger Alan Wade, one of the best story songwriters of all time. Roger is a #1 hit songwriter whose songs have been recorded by Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings and George Jones.
Since 2008 has been the co-host of "Big Ass Happy Family Jubilee", an hour long weekly show on SiriusXM that he co-hosts with his cousin Johnny Knoxville.
Sideman
Lincoln has been a sideman in many musical projects and genres over the years.
These days Lincoln is obsessed with the pedal steel guitar, but he has deep experience as a lead guitarist and is proficient on bass, banjo, dobro, lap steel and piano.
Bagpipes are next.
Christmas Instrumentals
Lincoln was on a subway platform about a decade ago and heard an incredible instrumental version of Silent Night. He went home and picked out how the guy played it, and since then put together a Christmas instrumental each year. Here are a few of them:
"A GOOD SONG REMINDS US WHAT WE ARE FIGHTING FOR."
